Developing A Remote Work Policy That Works

Flexible Remote Work (Work From Home) Policies provide employees the flexibility and convenience of connecting from anywhere around the world. Either that be in the office, at home, or both, the flexibility allows our employees to work wherever is most effective and efficient for them.

Our work from the home policy benefits both the business and our employees. Providing our team the ability to work in whatever surroundings will produce the most effective and efficient work results, leads to increased productivity. As an advantage, overhead and operating costs decrease and help keep the business running smoothly. When our employees win, we win!

Moving The Office Environment Online

In order for a work from home policy to be beneficial for all, is important that employees understand set expectations and what is required from them when working remotely. Such guidelines include requiring the use of a secure Wi-Fi network, working only on a trusted virtual private network (VPN), and maintaining clear and constant communication with supervisors and team members as needed.

Utilizing collaboration and communication platforms and software such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Drive helps us in the transition of moving the office environment online. They offer a convenient, fast, and scalable way for us to modernize business communications and processes, and make working remotely feel more like working in-person.
