Stauffer Accessibility Statement

Stauffer Holdings, Inc. (“Stauffer”) is committed to delivering digital products and services that are accessible to the broadest possible range of users, including people with disabilities. This statement describes our approach to accessibility as a supplier of custom web and application development, digital marketing, and managed services.

Standards We Build To

Stauffer designs and develops digital deliverables to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and with applicable requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act where relevant to a client engagement.

Our Practices

  • Accessibility considerations are incorporated into our design and development process, including semantic markup, color contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility.
  • Deliverables undergo accessibility review prior to client delivery, using a combination of automated testing tools and manual evaluation.
  • Project teams receive guidance on accessible design and development practices appropriate to their role.
  • We work collaboratively with clients to document any platform-, content-, or third-party-driven constraints that may affect full conformance, and to define a reasonable remediation path where applicable.

Scope and Limitations

Conformance is assessed at the point of delivery for work performed under Stauffer's direct control. Any inherited site must first be assessed and any inherited technical / accessibility debt must first be remediated prior to entering into a maintenance relationship. On an ongoing basis, Stauffer is not responsible for accessibility issues introduced by client-supplied content, third-party plugins or integrations, or modifications made after delivery by non-Stauffer personnel, except as otherwise specified in a governing statement of work or agreement.

Ongoing Commitment

We monitor evolving accessibility standards and regulatory guidance and update our internal practices accordingly, including regular training of team members on latest best practices. We welcome feedback from clients and end users regarding accessibility barriers encountered in any Stauffer-built product, and will work in good faith to address reported issues within the scope of the applicable engagement.
