Pivot TV

The Client

On August 1, 2013, Participant Media launched a new television network targeted towards Millennial’s (18-34) named Pivot.TV. This channel was designed to provide viewers a diverse slate of talent and a mix of original series, acquired programming, films and documentaries. 

Pivot focuses on entertainment that sparks conversation, inspires change and illuminates issues through engaging content and customizable actions. Additionally, Pivot is an early adopter in the shift of the media landscape. Currently available via traditional Pay TV subscription to 40 million-plus homes, they have seamlessly integrated options such as live and on demand streaming via Pivot’s interactive, downloadable application. 

The Goal

As the site had not existed prior, the Stauffer team and Participant Media had to work together to design and develop the new Pivot.TV network web page from the ground up. Using a Drupal CMS, Stauffer captured the energy of the company's mission to provide "entertainment that inspires social change." Through developing a user friendly interactive website, we were able to insight communication between the network and viewers.
